Keeping It Green in LIC
What the garden could be...
- A place where the L.I.C. Community can relax, learn, and meet
- Members will cultivate and care for plants, trees, and flowers.
- A venue where young and old will enjoy an outdoor classroom, performance and exhibition space.
Who will enjoy the Garden?
The Long Island City Community:
- The people who work or live in the area.
- Students and Staff of the four local high schools, LaGuardia Community College and DeVry Institute.

Why we need A garden

Dedication to Michael E. Brennan
"If we wish to remember loved ones gone, then let us place the sculpted stone, the green bush, the climbing rose, apple blossom, and cherry blossom in the public place where the sun shines, children play and the living pass to and fro."
